My Fall Forrest Fairy is off to work at the clinic today. Mom (me) got pressed into action to help with some minor sewing of costuming. Much easier than the days I used to costume her entire plays!

It is a mystery quilt program run by Karen Montgomery. You can find her on Fb as Nine Patch a DAY. Bags go in sale in Feb. from participating stores in US and Canada. you get a hint about a fabric (swatch or paint chip) the rest is mystery. Clue every 2 weeks by mail. Great teacher!

Great retreat! Got two #quilt tops completed!! Both are #brownbagmystery from 2022. Double blind, fabric and pattern. Teal was pulled from stash once yardage only known. Camera is not picking up the colours well but the teal is deep, saturated and stunning in person! A good example of color theory.

Day 1 of quilt retreat in the books. I quit early since I am first in to make coffee tomorrow.

I am doing UFOs this time. One top completed (borders needed) from 2022 and a second well on its way that I had to make 16 more blocks for, now piecing the rows together (same pattern as the other).

I am struggling with my union support these days. I am not anti union. However, I can not get behind all the demands either. Maybe I have become an old person now that I am retired? #unions #strike #inequity

Last greenhouse picking of the year. With -10 forecasted it is time. The peppers were continuing to thrive still putting out flowers and SO many baby peppers. I could have picked through the toms to get many more but I went with these.
