On FamilySearch, the parents married abt 1853, but they are married on the 1850 census. On FS their son was born in 1854 which matches the gravestone, but early census records put his birth abt 1851.

Rather thankful I didn't have to keep up with the 1905 spring fashions. Must-haves: New Bridge Coat -assuming one has an old one- & a Directoire Coat. Unless the Directoire ushered the Haves from dinner table to bridge table, doubt I would have needed one. Kansas City Journal, April 7, 1905.
