That was a very funny post, maybe you are the cause!

Irish BlueSky seems to be obsessed with zogabongs right now, and while I find it all very entertaining, I have yet to find an origin story for this current revival - anyone know anything??

My brother informed most readers at his wedding about five minutes beforehand. This, despite the fact that he had named them in the programme. You're grand!

I spent far too long last night searching for one in vain. We would def have one for a general election though

I am sad to report that this is the end. When I worked in M&S, they only played obscure 70s and 80s pop, a lot of which I didn't know. But now? I hum along to Nelly Furtado's Promiscuous on the escalator, and openly sing to Stop by the Spice Girls packing my bag. NOW I AM THEIR TARGET MARKET.

I think itโ€™s important to treat little kids like people, but sometimes regular grownup stuff just scrambles their brains. Have you ever met a three-year-old and told them: โ€œIโ€™ve heard so much about you!โ€ Their expression is likeโ€ฆwhat the hell? How? Why?

I'd love to if you delivered to Ireland! Bought some of your Arsenal mugs for family in the UK before, they had great craic with them

Did you buy a book today? Borrow one from the library? Get a loan of one from a friend? Find one waiting for you on a park bench? Yes? Very good, carry on.

I have fought the good fight on behalf of Evan Ferguson many times. Unless we get a statement clarifying this, that's it for me.

Not finding the Damien Duff news quite as entertaining now that my own club appears to be in crisis. Life is too cruel. /s

I went to talk to people in Ballymena, and was told to make myself 'scarce' or there'd be trouble Some local people were reluctant to speak to The Journal, stating that they only speak to GB News.

I think we're in trouble with City next season already tbh. The volume of players bought since January, and we're barely in the first summer transfer window

I'm mainly mad we're not getting extra extra time

I hate all of this in almost every way a thing can be hated. I hate the factless waffle that surrounds Big AIโ€™s every improbable goal. I hate how insipidly stupid, or just plain evil, those goals so often are, and the yawning chasm between them and any form of achievable reality. I hate that Big AIโ€™s successes are inflated and its failures ignored โ€” or are even categorised as hilarious mis-steps, like when AI chatbots tell people to eat poisonous mushrooms, put glue on pizza, or make air diffusers from chlorine gas.

I hate that Big AI consumes so much energy that every time you generate a six-fingered portrait of Anne Frank or a scene from the Vietnam war in the style of Studio Ghibli, you might as well just kill a polar bear with a crossbow. I hate that it can run roughshod over every copyright law and environmental protection on the planet in pursuit of the data it needs to continue failing, with no consequences save for the enrichment of the worst people on Earth, who have managed to make all of this magical bullshit seem sensible to an intellectual class comprised of people I wouldnโ€™t trust to print an email.

Last month I did a little experiment.

I wanted to see how the exact same post would perform on both X (Twitter) and Bluesky.

The results were...interesting...

Ah tรก brรณn orm รšna-Minh, GRMA!
Good news though, apparently a lad in our local Supervalu is saying the whole storm doesn't exist and is just propaganda. So maybe you want to tell your shed there to cop onto itself and magically repair itself ๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿซฃ

Bookish kids are the best, they are our future. I use a mobile library as there isn't a branch near me, and the kids flock there. Last week a kid informed the librarian "I'm glad you have the mobile library cos the place I got my library card is a whole FOUR miles away and it's way too far" ๐Ÿ˜„

What county are you in, รšna? It's meant to be calming down at this stage, thought it was worse myself overnight (S Dublin) but I suppose there's always the risk of gusts!
