Meio triste ver gente empolgada para trabalhar em uma empresa por causa dos jogos que aquela empresa traduziu, mas ela é meio exploradora/precarizadora e você não pode falar nada por N motivos.

Yeah, I'd say it's the perfect solution if you don't want to limit the player, but don't want to reward the behavior.

This reminds me that Morrowind was the last TES to allow the killing of any NPC, and the player just had to deal with the consequences of going down that path, no extra content. I remember that Caius Cosades had a warning screen that it would softlock the story, but I'm not sure about other NPCs.

I mean, ffs, life is hard enough already, just let me rest in peace and be forgotten by time.

If somebody did this to me, my real ghost would come back to make their life miserable. Or I would rise from the grave, half-decomposed, and run around yelling "ISN'T THIS WHAT YOU WANTED" while they scream in terror.

You Can't Report on Hunger While Taking Bread Off the Table On the proliferation of machine translation in video game outlets covering the effects of AI on labor.

I wrote more words about how it feels to be a translator watching the games press report on AI and labor, coming from a field that's fought these battles for decades. It may look like I'm beating up on one outlet, but it's not about them; I've been trying to write this for me and my peers all year.

It's all perfectly legal, of course, they just take advantage of the loopholes in some idiotic laws (like Brazil's import tax), and it only works for stuff that can be legally sold in the country.

People born in NA and Europe have no idea how lucky they are when buying online, haha.

For those who have never dealt with this, it's mostly a developing country issue. Some stores might ship to your country, but it will either be extremely expensive (due to import taxes) or take a really long time to arrive (due to customs), so we use a redirect service to, erm, bypass some stuff.

Funny to see an _official_ store of handcrafted leather goods suggesting the use of a redirect service for people buying in Brazil, haha.

I've also seen they sell non-dated notebooks with numbered pages, I might buy one after my current Leuchtturm is filled.
