Among the more ubiquitous of the world's feathered folk, the humble house sparrow (Passer domesticus indicus) adds a dash of life to the mundanity of the life urbane, with it's cacophony of chirps and cheeps, no matter which part of the world one may find it in.

I personally will not use any kind of generative AI for any reason on the grounds that the whole project is unethical, but I get that there are some sensible use cases in principle. Using it for species identification is definitely not one of them.

Instead of using AI tools to help (incorrectly) identify wildlife, use a field guide (online, or otherwise), and hone your observation and identification skills in the process.

I love seeing these topics in the media, people looking to simplify or streamline their daily tech use, but maybe DONT buy an expensive phone JUST because it does less than a normal smartphone?

Is "thin" a feature you would pay more for on your next phone? If it meant less battery life and slower charging speeds?

In case anyone was wondering what the dangling crow was up to. Well big news! First of all, theyβre still at the crowbatics - pic is from today. And! They have a nest in the big cedar! So Iβve been seeing them fly from the nest to the aerial for some dangling then back up to the nest π #Corvids π¦

I would still daily a Key2 if I could. I loved that device.
I wish they would. But seeing as they have managed to 'pay homage' to BlackBerry devices in the past, without shelling out licensing fees, by tweaking the design just enough, and the fact that they are based in China gives me very little hope they might.
