Had a great afternoon configuring & hardening some Linux servers. It was made much more productive because of ChatGPT and Claude Code.

Got through 2-3 days of work in 5 hours. At the end of it I have a series of tested hardening & configuration scripts that I can re-use on other sites too.

Especially since many of the best ones are free & open-source.

Just recently I tried out Anthropic Claude - it’s so much better, a totally different experience.

It’s like talking to someone with a PhD instead of a pre-schooler.
