Going through issues of Hora Cero, and it really illustrates what an insane run Oesterheld was on at that point.

You open on Ernie Pike by him and Hugo fucking Pratt, and then you turn and get to El Eternauta with Solano Lopez.

And then it tops off with Randall by him and Arturo Del Castillo!

I can't stand to hear an objectivist talk their shit for more than two minutes, but I could stare at pages of Mr. A for hours on end. There's always something about a talented artist putting all of their craft in service of something they 100% believe in.

Oh god yeah, Oesterheld was a writing machine. Just nonstop indelible bangers. The only guys I can think of that could've matched his output would be Robin Wood or Carlos Trillo.

I appreciate that people are adding the different versions of the Martian tripods. The ace combat fan continues to go hard.

If you're not in the same room with someone, if you don't have to physically see them and exist with them on a regular basis, it becomes dangerously easy to think the worst of them, and also to fail to see the damage you may be doing to someone as well. It's not perfect, but it encourages kindness.

I remember reading a while ago how one of the causes of road rage was that cars hide people's bodies, and if you can't physically see the other person, if you can't read the social cues of their emotions during their actions, you tend to think the worst of them.
And I feel like that is a part of it.
