4/ These findings suggest the AMPD does a strong job translating the borderline PD construct into dimensional terms, but there's room to grow—especially for capturing relational aspects of the disorder.

3/ Coverage wasn't uniform across borderline features, though. Identity disturbance and affective instability were well captured, while interpersonal features like negative relationships showed notable gaps.

2/ The AMPD's Criteria A and B collectively accounted for roughly 80% of variance in borderline PD features. After adjusting for measurement error, that number climbed closer to 90%.

This is excellent. The most interesting result isn’t that AP outperforms PP, but that the treatments seem to operate on different time horizons. When change unfolds over years, follow-up length stops being a methodological detail and becomes the result.
