I always struggle to hit my #NewYearsResolutions, and #WritingGoals
This year I'm starting a new system, and am even providing the template for others to tag along.

Thank you! I've struggled with big writing goals for years, and learned that shorter bursts give me way more progress.

Hopefully it also helps others.

Rules
1. Take 1 - 2 days off between each chain
2. Give yourself a reward at the end of every chain.
3. Track our progress.

Here's my template. Feel free to use it or make your own.
Throughout the year I'll add New Challenges onto these to make it harder.

Week 1, the challenge is to just write.

So This year instead of sticking to the usual New Years resolution.
I've decided to do away with that system, and aim for smaller goals.

Through out the year I'm going to try and complete 5 day streaks. Which creates a chain.
Let's see how many chains I can complete.

I attended #Dragonsteel this year and met a lot of cool people.

Hanging it old friends and making new ones.
Who else took part in the coin sorting club in the dealers hall Saturday night? 😎

I have decided #DoomSctolling is bad for thy brain

And it's hard to stop.
But I was successful this morning.
Didn't immediately go for the phone.

Well of ascension, here I come (because I was finally able to crawl out of my chaos enough buy it. 😂)

I've fought joblessness and homelessness in a span of 2 months.
And a depressive spell immediately following in the aftermath.

And tonight we reward ourselves for surviving our darkest hour.
By reading more #mistborn and questioning why @brandonsanderson.com hasn't paid my therapy bill yet.

So I had to call a maintenance person last night, as the power went out in my apartment
This little guy decided to hide under the couch as he often does with strangers
Then proceeds to come out of hiding after maintenance leaves.
All proud and meowing at me like he just defended our home

Sometimes the hardest thing we deal with is change.
Change is scary, especially unexpected change.

But eventually you realize that the path you want to go down, requires some kind of change from you.

After 2 months of change after change, I realize that its time to do something new.
So Here we go.

And then WAS told a week after being told about my impending job loss that I that I have to find a new place to live.
and in the RUSH of all of that mess my pc tower suddenly died on me.

but iT wILL GET better.
Life is a roller Coaster, and we are on one HELL of a ride.

The hardest thing to do when a lot of changes happen at one time.
Is believing that it will lead to something good.

I'm going to be honest, May has been a train wreck of problem.

Every plan I make blows up in my face.
Not to forget I lost my Job unexpectedly.
