I liked Fatal Frame 2 more on a replay. I didn't love it the first time (not to say that it was bad by any means, I liked it, I just didn't L O V E it). About halfway through FF3 now. Still my favorite one.

Cheryl, Marie, and Fiona are all nobodies at the start, but they each become infamous as the story (and the series overall) progresses. As three people would when trying to topple a Goddess, they have to repeatedly clash with the people in power to meet their goal!

I forgot just how short Fatal Frame 1 was. Already beat it! Gods, that game can be infuriating.

I love this

Sometimes I wonder what part of me is really directing this book. There are times when I want to wipe chapters, throw the characters through the worst things, and disregard the part of me that wants a good ending. It’s like a blur, like a scratching. I’m in control of this book, right? Or are *you*?

I'm writing from the floor of a stripped apartment, just as my characters are trapped in the thru-way between their problem and solution.

Writing on the carpet in a packed-up place, in the middle of the liminal while writing about liminality. I’m not at the here, or at the there, but at the in between! (This is a fancy way of saying my butt hurts and the carpet is not comfortable)

I’ve been apologizing to my characters since I first started writing them. The situations I put them in have not gotten better in all this time 😅
