The transformation of the prison into migrant detention continues a pattern of ICE moving into shuttered prisons. With several recently closed prisons in the state and one more expected next year, activists worry whether one of those facilities may be next.

This is a jarring story about Tegna owned WUSA-TV pulling a story AFTER IT AIRED. The excuse is that the story needed a comment from the local gas company BUT that seems a bit fishy especially because 1) the local gas co isn't mentioned 2) the general industry complaints are included. HMMMM
