Tones: Noir and Pulp?

I wrote a dire Life And Death intro paragraph for #SwordsWithoutMaster but the characters decided they were inspired by a detective and a malinois dog… so we skewed into Film Noir.

So now we have an inspector-reincarnated-as-cat and dog duo to explore the world with. 🤷‍♂️ I’m excited!

I’d rather have an intentional 2 hours of focused play with some time before and after to chat ( “Bookend it with the bullshit” 😅) so like 3 hours total - than have people falling asleep.

I snapped right past “that seems wrong” to “I’m curious…” really quickly! It’s got a La Vey “If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy” vibe to it too, so there was something in the 60s zeitgeist.
