How trans sports bans threaten intersex athletes like me If I was competing in high school or college athletics today, I would have much more to worry about than just being teased for looking different.

Because anti-trans sports bans inaccurately define sex as a narrow binary, many intersex people are prevented from experiencing the joys and other benefits that come from athletic participation.

Everyone deserves the freedom to be themselves and play the sports they love.
