Had a fascinating meeting this am with a prospective new member of @Making Families Count. She is a mental health nurse who lost her brother to suicide. She had some really interesting insight too into the mental health struggles of some communities in the UK. Love meeting potential new members😍

Yesterday we ran a bespoke webinar for University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust as part of PSIRF training in better family engagement during investigations. "Learning from the family experience" featured great speakers to illustrate transformative good family engagement in investigations.

On Wednesday, we're running the 1st in a series of bespoke training webinars for University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. Their staff have been trained in how to use PSIRF and our 2 part webinars are on "Learning from the family experience" in order to improve family engagement during PSIRF.

That's absolutely true. The journey began with @doritbraun.bsky.social using her traumatic and powerful lived experience to establish this project, together with Dr Karen Lascelles. So many wonderful people have worked with us on it - a true example of excellent co-production work.
