If you are elected to office but then choose not to participate in the legislative process you should, by law, be ejected from that governing body. Your recorded vote is what you were elected for. When you choose to boycott a vote, then you should be kicked out for not serving in good faith.

Agreed. And the sad part is, the government is not their neighbor, not their local store or their local small business. So while they commit to tearing down government, all in the name of "owning the libs", they take their community down the drain with them. Shame on all of them.
