From the perspective of an active LDS parent - it definitely takes time to adjust and accept the fact that we have to adjust our communication to what our kids are willing to accept, wherever that boundary is set.
It's up to you to either read or delete it, or set the line in the sand.

Has anyone here ever read The Silmarillion by Tolkien? In the first part of the first chapter, outside of scripture, it has the most beautiful description of our pre-earth life that I have ever read.
