Yes, had a tv movie feel or like extended episode of Star Trek DS9. Some interesting kills. And follows a tradition of the ship’s pilot wearing a cowboy hat and being like the country type dude. I like to think when that detail shows up in a movie, it’s always a nod to Bluegrass from SilverHawks

It certainly has a charm. They really swung for something big that I appreciate.

I knew going in it would be corny and bad, but I really did like the concept of it. A little bit Aliens. A little bit Star Trek. The holodeck scene where they took him to 1980… I want a whole movie of him being trapped in a simulation. It was endearing and I kept hoping his mom was going to show up.

Going to finally watch Jason X, a movie I have avoided since its debut for reasons I am not entirely sure. We’ll see.

The Hand That Rocks the Cradle remake on Hulu has me thinking about when I was 9, my mom helped me skip my Monday night CCE class to go see the original at the local theater. We both were so excited to see it. I’d reenact that greenhouse scene in the garage. I might need to write about this.

I had no idea! That is crazy. This will finally be the key I need to get my husband to pay attention to SilverHawks (he has long had a thing for Janice) the universe is a helluva place.

I saw Tron: Ares & Sebastian Stan would have been good as Ares. It’s a shame, because Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Evan Peters were all so great. Especially Jodie. She was so menacing and Grace Jones cool. I want to see her in all the things. She’d make a great T-1000 in a Terminator film too.

Luckily the flakes are inside the plastic, so no glitter shedding which is how I like my glitter. 😊 they are from the line Yummiland. Really cute mini figures that come with a diy tube of lip gloss. Not big on the lip gloss component but I am a lil obsessed with the toys.

Gift bags make the best backdrops for photos.

Of course Drew has since been shot JR Ewing style and is fighting for his life and it’s now a big who dunnit, but, I just love that I briefly connected with another soap fan out in the wild.

Prior to the hair cut I was in line waiting to check in and the woman in front of me was booking her next appointment and she said, “It can’t be when my soap General Hospital is on” I was like, “I watch that too!” She goes, “You know who I hate right now? Drew Cain!” I agreed and we just laughed.

Oh I totally get that! Like I had got my hair cut at the JC Penney salon, and I was in a fun outfit that cost me next to nothing but I always like to dress up a little bit when I get my hair done so I might come off a certain way but looks are totally deceiving. lol

I mean that could certainly be it. I was just shocked because it’s been a long time since I heard someone talk a lil smack to me and I was like, “Where are my non-existent pearls to clutch?” lol

Got my hair cut & styled, it’d been well over a year. So I was feeling myself & went grocery shopping as one does. So I’m turning an aisle & almost bump into a couple. I apologize & scoot off. The guy mutters, “Look at her, all high n mighty.” I was 🫢, like, I’m just trying to get through life sir!

Looking through old art I made in high school. This one was inspired by Jaws 3 and that underwater level from the TMNT Nintendo game. I like that I gave the shark an eyebrow.
