2/2… where the process continues.

Climate change will have increased the erosion but hard proving it’s the sole cause and lack of government action.

I hope they win!!

Hard argument, Long-shore drift is a natural process around the entire east Anglian coastline. Build a port (Great Yarmouth) and sea defences at certain popular towns (Cromer and Sheringham) and the process is halted causeing other places (Hemsby, Happisburgh etc.) for erosion to increase

Ticks found in pheasant-release woods 2.5 times more likely to carry Lyme disease bacteria Press release from Exeter University (21 April 2025) MORE TICKS CARRY LYME DISEASE BACTERIA IN PHEASANT-RELEASE AREAS Ticks are more likely to carry the bacteria that can cause Lyme disease in area…

When you release up to 50 million non-native pheasants into the countryside every year, there are bound to be environmental consequences.

Here's consequence #105 (random number, I haven't actually counted the consequences because I'd lose the will to live).

Labour MPs in despair at voters' verdict on government Sir Keir Starmer is facing calls for a change of direction after a dismal set of local election results.

If we also used the correct mathematical calculation for a billion (being one million x a million = 1,000,000,000,000) rather than the US Billion being 1000 x a million = 1,000,000,000) which is 900,000 million SHORT of actually being a billion) and the debt is suddenly much, much smaller!!

Government β€˜failing to support natural regeneration of trees in England’ Campaigners say targets for woodland creation are unlikely to be met because 95% of grants are for planting

When I tried to discuss this issue here, several forestry folk leapt up to say "it's not like that." One of them starkly misrepresented my position, going so far as to make up quotes to support his claims.
Well it is "like that", and it's a major problem. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

It’s very simple, if you’re born with a penis = you’re a man, if you’re born with a vagina = you’re a woman.

Did you fail biology at school?

Full of plastic tubes, wooden stakes and cable ties. Planted β€œforests” are not good for biodiversity, natural succession is the only way to allow woodlands to be recreated. Man cannot do natures job. This will be a biodiversity desert.
