Some things I want to see in the next year whilst waiting for a new series of Doctor Who.

1. Get Disney+ renewal or not sorted ASAP
2. More colourised/modernised old episodes
3. A Comic Relief minisode just to give us new Who in 2026 (maybe a 14 and Donna short or direct follow on Reality War)

Vince Clarke of Erasure/Yazoo was a genius. He realised you can mix the cold bleepiness of synths with a soulful voice like Andy Bell or Alison Moyet.

It was great to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week at Coleg Cambria!

The college is where I started as an apprentice and it was wonderful to return as Minister responsible for Apprenticeships in the Welsh Government. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Wonderful moment this weekend speaking at Welsh Labour Conference 2024.

To be fair to them, they were peaceful and respectful to conference attendees and didn't block any traffic. They drove and parked on the "prom" also not blocking pedestrians. There was another protest that I can't say the same about!

Oh I know about the pain of the Doctor figure losing his sonic screwdriver and scouring the floor for it. Fortunately he's currently holding it OK
