They suddenly hear a familiar voice from the doorway of Goten's apartment saying "Well, this explains a lot."

pg. 8; Goten and Future Trunk's eyes fly open, and they break apart, turning their heads towards the doorway. Present day Trunks is standing in the doorway, dressed in a blue button-up shirt, black slacks, and a Capsule Corp watch on his wrist. Goten's shoes dangle from his left hand, which were left behind at Trunk's apartment from earlier that night.
