Asterix & Obelix (SNES) and The Smurfs 1 (Game Boy) remain some of my favorite OSTs of all time, thanks for these good memories!

The Asterix franchise is where I spent much of my early career, both composing and coding the music (and drawing sprites for the first ones). As a lifelong fan of the comics, it was a deeply rewarding experience - especially the time I spent crafting the soundtrack for the SNES version.

I don’t know what exactly I am looking at, but those are some crisp 8bit animations right there.

This release stabilises the 2 breaking changes I made to the audio driver months ago (in the beta releases). It also fixes a lot of small bugs and items I had on my ever growing todo list.

guess what ova got a HD release for the first time ever today

The two Game Boy games are Kitchen Panic and Shin SD Gundam Gaiden, for those that are wondering. Nothing amazing, but two decent B-tier hidden gems.

You usually had to pay for the license per region, I can imagine they deemed it not worth it for NA.

The Sega Saturn lightguns came in their original packaging, but I unfortunately had to trash those. 🥲

They were partially moldy and there’s no way I’d store that with any other gaming stuff.
