X/Twitter has moved so far away from it's original principles it is now difficult to post on. The follow people/follow back idea has been kyboshed by Musk. People will pay for "reach" and get a tick, which leaves no reason for people to follow the unticked. It's also a right wing echo chamber now.

Funny that as when I was searching for anal sex, all the search came up with was people saying Good morning. 😔

There was a lot of bullying in cartoons, when you think about it.

A single frame cartoon of one of those balancing, dangling things that people have - you know, the ones with a series of sticks with shapes hanging off them that sort of drift in the breeze (We're not going to use the word that succinctly describes them for reasons that will become evident when we get to the speech balloon). Hanging off one of the dangling sticks is a small man speaking into a telephone, and he is saying: "I'm sorry. You'll have to speak up. I'm on my mobile."

Another poor quality gag. A picture of a melamine kitchen clipped out of a 1970s DIY magazine with crudely glued on speech balloons. A sliding cabinet-mounted cutlery receptacle is saying "I won a tenner on the lottery again this week." A cupboard door responds: "It's not fair. I always get a ticket but I've never won anything." The oven chips in with: "Yeah. How come his numbers always come up?" To which another cabinet replies "Just the luck of the drawer, I suppose."

X is getting worse and the right feel completely vindicated now that Trump has been inaugurated. At some point I really need to stop using it, it's just weaning myself off it that is difficult.

I sometimes think that the world has gone slightly mad on X/Twitter. There seems to be a constant undertone of wanting to overthrow the democratically elected Government and now Elon Musk is throwing his weight about. Maybe he should stick to South African politics.

Ok. Musk is insane. An out-of-control lunatic ketamine-soaked billionaire in charge of the White House with a feverish grudge against our govt and Starmer in particular. Reform and the Tories disgrace themselves by their fawning, unpatriotic and dangerous association with him.
