Every EdTech tool out there promises to make a difference. And there are so many out there.
When it comes to classroom technology, EdTech solutions can only be a solution if they address a real need that conventional methods fail, and users know how to use it.

It's hard to stand in front of students and try out new technology or implement new instructional strategies.
Technology should not require advanced knowledge to get started, and it should also grow skills organically with usage.

Ask any teacher what they want from PD. Most start with: Will it help students?

By best advise for lesson planning. Plan the "what" 6 weeks in advance, so you have time to tweak and improve. Plan the "how" 1.5 weeks in advance, so it's still fresh, but allows you grace in case planning gets canceled-that way you don't get behind.

I used Canva as my slide deck. The session was a workshop, so most of the time spent was using tools.

A lot of EdTech tools will do this for you - edpuzzle, quizizz and Gimkit are a few. Forms responses can be accessed and filtered /organized to group kids into ares of need

A3. Choice and student self-evaluation are important to include when planning for personalized instruction. I also like tools that either collect performance results or organize students responses by misconceptions is the best way to quickly organize students and ID needs.
