But as a fan of other rap groups like Slaughterhouse and Little Brother, I wondered why Clipse managed to captivate hip-hop culture when they didn't. I reviewed the album in hopes of finding out why. Despite the bleakness, some of the best writing in the show is in this season. A lot of great one-off stories not even about the main cast, worth picking back up.

That's season 2! Oh my God, you gotta get back in there, at least to the Reparations episode in 3!

I'd hope so! A lot of these episodes are downers until one sweet moment right at the end. Usually, I'm imagining the series as a whole might be like that, and it should end on at least a slightly high note since it's a series finale.

For those curious, I fell off after the missing phone episode. Felt so cruel and pointless to end it like that after all of that. This season just feels kinda bleak overall but the writing is holding up, hope in in the mood for it now.

The Trini episode is fucking incredible. This Amsterdam episode im watching rn and im nervous. Picking up on some vibes and knowing how most episodes of Atlanta end, im very worried but im locked in for now.

I fell off of Atlanta about halfway through season 3. Picked it back up and this show is still incredibly top tier.

Its been a bit of a trend having the rough edges of humanity that make us human slowly sanded down for the sake of brand safety and protecting children. It sucks dude, freaks make the world go round, we need more of them not less.
