Still no answer from the State Department on the validity of my passport - my flight is in 6 days.

I'm sure that will happen eventually. Probably not by next week.

I amended the gender marker on my passport last year. I am supposed to travel out of the country next week and the State Department can't tell me if I will be let back into the country. I was legal to travel a few days ago and overnight my passport has potentially become invalid.

ugh I hate this for us

I'm traveling next week on a passport with an updated gender marker and I'm terrified I will be denied entry back to the US or face detainment and harassment. Should I cancel the trip?
