In this report, The Athletic can detail: • In August 2021, Partey was reported to police for the first time. • In September 2021, Arsenal were contacted by one woman to make them aware of the traumatic experiences she said she had with Partey. • Arsenal were also subsequently contacted by the police to inform them that Partey was being investigated for serious sexual offences. • Arsenal were aware that the Crown Prosecution Service - which decides whether cases should be prosecuted - was in the process of making its charging decision when they entered into talks with Partey about a new contract earlier this year.

Arsenal FC’s “safeguarding” team that shamed the victims who came forward trying to hold the club accountable for platforming of alleged rapist Thomas Partey

At the very least, I hope the victims can breathe a bit easier today. Their healing is always the most important thing when it comes to stuff like this.

The whole Partey situation has me hot and fed up and honestly just exasperated.

I hope for a day when that type of behavior is treated with the severity and seriousness it deserves, but on days like this it’s hard to keep the faith that it will ever come. :/

Tbh I did a lot of Frank research 2 years ago when we ultimately ended up hiring Ange. I woulda been happy with him then and I am now (though def not happy with how it all went down).

He’s cool, I’m allowing myself to get excited. He’s got a shot to take us places. I still miss #bigboss though.
