Ep 9 of #TheAgency is out now and it’s a real banger! Ep 10, the season finale and my final ep of three that I cut on the show drops next week. @littlemilli.bsky.social played a HUGE role in making the storytelling in ep 10 work, and very much earned her additional editor credit.

Dissolves have their place, but they have a language - to give a dreamy feel, or show a passage of time, or blend to images visually - that’s their power. To use them without purpose as a lazy solution to a cut that isn’t working? That’s when I hate them. “Dissolve when you can’t resolve.”
