It’s a very dull damp day here, heating on and fish fingers for lunch and staying put on the sofa

Back aching and tired……….sounds like a band from the 60s/70s 🤔

Put together two flat packs and now my back has given out on me, that’s me done for the rest of the week and I still have a few things to do before the weekend, going to be tricky going forwards.

Lunch today will be a puff pastry beef pie with chunky chips and vegetables followed by a cheesecake

Pizza Saturday

Put the clocks back for daylight savings on the oven and microwave, everything else takes care of itself ⏰

……with getting a new care package in place which can take months with having to go through all the paperwork sending it in and waiting for a response to see if she is eligible for it, having no help and moving into a new home would put a huge strain on both of us while waiting for the outcome

Well I’ve just sent a email which I was hoping I wouldn’t have to, due to changes to my mom’s care package I can no longer go ahead with the purchase of the new home, if I went ahead with the purchase she would lose the package that’s being put in place which would mean having to start over again…..

My lunch today, Rotisserie chicken with the mixed vegetables

All done in the air fryer, the egg wasn’t bad but needs a reduction in the cooking time as 8min on 180 over did the yolk, toast came out great, lightly sprayed with oil in for 5min at 200 turned halfway (sourdough bread)

Made a start on moving the wardrobes so that the plasterer can get to the wall and do the repairs, two bedrooms need doing then the kitchen and hallway, not being started till November but I didn’t want to leave it till the last minute what with my moms needs, so it’s on going making room till then

Haven’t the heart to brush this away

Light snack

Yes mine needs to sell before I can do anything, if the price isn’t right then I won’t be buying

So I’ve seen the rest of the bungalows and two are in the running if the valuations for my property are the right price for the deal to go through

Back out to look at the new bungalows and get an idea of the different styles they have, also waiting on the valuations for my house and see if I can go ahead with the offer and buy the new home

Online food shop, it’s the biggest and expensive one I’ve done which means I shouldn’t have to buy anything for a while

Sunday a day of rest………….my mom doesn’t understand the meaning behind it 🫩

Having some plastering work done in November, if the property is to be sold then it should be in good condition but if I don’t end up selling it’s still a job that needs sorting out

The carer support is coming to an end soon, to keep it going my mom has to have a amount of money in her bank account that isn’t over the limit which will mean she will have to pay for the carers coming in, at the moment she is fine but with her pensions she could go over the fresh-old

Not much happening today so making the most of it while I can

Flat pack assembly today, coat rack with shoe bench in rustic brown with a black metal frame, fits in beside the staircase and also I can open the cupboard door under the stairs without moving stuff in front of it now

So I’ve been to look at the new bungalows, could only look in two as they were tarmacking the roads on site, going back Monday to see the rest of the site with the different types of homes for sale, estate agents are coming to look at my property to make a valuation and see whether it’s affordable

Out today to look at a possible new home, I’ll report back later with the outcome 🤔

Not had much sleep so at some point today I will probably just go 😴
