This included literal clashes. When Mattachine NY (the ones behind that sign) held meetings to try to co-opt these movements, they were angrily shouted down.

Overwhelmingly, the homophile movement groups in the late '60s (the suits of their day) did not see Stonewall as an opportunity for collaboration. As the sign above showed they tried to shut it down immediately and afterwards.

ultimately part of the upset here is realizing that homeless people are your underclass neighbors who can't be "priced out," that you're somehow stuck with them despite all that rent-raising gentrification that happened

The ruling classes live in an anarchist paradise, they have no borders stopping them, they can collectively use their resources and network to change things, their needs are met. If you ask for anarchist life too they either say its not possible or they kill you because they hoard it for themselves

This isn't doomer posting. It is an accurate statement of where things are at. I do think we can win and overthrow this regime, but it will not be through waiting for one of these rich buffoons to do the right thing.

"We can bully them into behaving" no longer seems to work. They do not care. We call and they stop taking calls. Every member of the ruling class has invested fully into the fascist project and needs to be treated as an enemy.
