Agree that the recording is wonderful. And simply don't understand why the similarly wonderful Nuits d'été didn't even get a mention on today's Radio 3 Building a Library. Is it because it is not currently available?

Try the Pallant Gallery in Chichester. Its current "exhilarating exhibition" (not my words but Rachel Spence in the FT) "The Shape of Things" really tells the visitor through its captions what were the influences on each painting and points you to what you might miss. Thought provoking and moving
