Trump's anti-trans agenda is getting creative—cracking down on (or at least intimidating) GAC providers w/ misapplied consumer protection laws. The event will be...interesting.

Those kids are in a school where they are taught to obey authority. They are taught that at home as well. So for the teacher to blame them for not defying authority goes against what they learn every day, obedience and conformity. If anything, this story is an indictment of that teacher and school.

I honestly wonder if a lot of these folks wouldn't have been much happier and more generally pro-social as drag queens.

My dear @joeldrummer.bsky.social often says, "They (lots of white ppl) would rather burn the fields than share." This applies especially to anything benefiting Black and brown people.

A mobile ultrasound van used to park near my work. It looked Very Medical, but there was no doc or nurse on hand. I talked to someone at Planned Parenthood @ppfa.org who said they see people who got their ultrasound, were lied to about their dates, and it basically made abortion care hard to get.

They're quite magical. My family landed in Mexico a month ago. There are gorgeous mimosas, pines and acacias growing near where we're staying. They've given us a lovely welcome 🌲🌳

It's not about logic. It doesn't matter why they're trying to raid emergency schools. What matters is that they're going after kids and breaking up families.

Can you imagine if reelection were banned in the US, as President Sheinbaum proposes for all of Mexico? The sheer quantity of time saved from campaigning while in office boggles the mind. Imagine having to focus on doing your job, not getting reelected 🙃

I watched it tonight. I have known of Kendrick Lamar for a long time but not listened to his music. I know a lot of it went over my head, but I enjoyed it well enough. Keep in mind, I've passed my first routine colonoscopy, so I'm not exactly his target demographic.
