Employment rights bill will mean: day one access to sick pay, better parental leave, easier access to flexible working, restrictions on less favourable terms in outsourced health services and better access to unions for people who need them

Whist it is outrageous that opposition peers have blocked day one protection from unfair dismissal, compromising to get the rest of deal which will benefit members over the line is bread and butter to most unions and most trade unionists.

I see a lot of white liberals just can’t understand how Britons of colour can hold any view other than a totally pro free movement one, yet Black and Asian Brits, like their white peers, hold a range of views.

There are many too many hate crimes in our country.
