Quick birthday doodle π
22.10.2025 20:31 β π 15 π 1 π¬ 4 π 0You can take what I said however you want, but this is my initial thought after teaching inside and out of gaming for almost 7 years while considering peopleβs opinions regarding coaching and the quality of it.
13.10.2025 17:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Nonetheless, play or improve in a way that makes you feel the most comfortable. I understand that a lot more goes into excelling at anything, such as proper diagnosis, feedback, communication, discipline, and more. I also understand that everyoneβs brain is wired differently.
13.10.2025 17:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Ultimately, while both bottom-up and top-down approaches can shape your perspective of learning, I believe prioritizing a broader understanding first leads to smarter play. Even if it takes more time, it'll help you sustain and build on your progress, rather than relying on short-term gains.
13.10.2025 17:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0They will provide a strong foundation that can be refined and adapted to your weapon or character of choice, making your progress more sustainable over time.
13.10.2025 17:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0If you switch it to a bottom-up one, significant improvements will take longer to develop. Itβll take longer to comprehend all the moving parts of the "bigger picture", but once you understand some broader conceptsβmap awareness, team dynamics, objective play etc.β they will carry you further.
13.10.2025 17:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Focusing on a character or weapon can show quicker results, as you can rapidly build the specific skills you need for your level to see immediate improvements. However, what you learn during that time will often fade in the short term and may not transfer smoothly to new strategies or situations.
13.10.2025 17:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I was thinking about why people may prefer a bottom-up approach (pouring so much effort into working on a weapon or character first and then seeing the βbigger pictureβ afterwards) when trying to improve. It makes sense for quick results, but not for long-term ones at higher ranks.

No way in hell you're 33. Happy birthday nonetheless!
01.10.2025 00:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Since I'm going on break for a bit content wise I want to take a small thread to give some advice.
Some of this will be opinionated but I think my channels worked out pretty well and I'm seeing more upcoming creators, so this will be filled with a bunch of advice that comes to mind.

A rectangular image in front of a tall, black building with many windows, with a yellow sign with two crossed arrows pointing upward. Centered on the image, to the left, is a pale orange ink splash. On top of the ink is white text with a black border, which reads, "The Top 5 Misconceptions About Competitive Splatoon". To the right of the text is an orange-and-blue-haired Inkling who has a yellow hairpin shaped like a '3'; there is a puzzled expression on her face as she reads a very long piece of paper. There are two orange question marks hovering above her head.
Competitive Splatoon already comes with its own set of challenges to join the scene. Misconceptions shouldn't be one of them.
Here are five common misconceptions and how to break them down: www.splatoonstronghold.com/news/the-top...

I have so many ideas and series in mind that I think would be useful for everyone and more interactive. It'll take some time, but I think it will be worth it.
A quick video as food for thought for improving at your weapon and #Splatoon3 in general. The next topic I'll cover is patience, presented in a similar video style but slightly longer.

Night and day difference already. Donβt be afraid to put more time into them as itβs worth the effort and gives you more of an identity to viewers.
28.08.2025 15:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ngl, seeing your initial post gave me more motivation to start working out again and Iβm seeing some results.
Nonetheless, I bet a lot of people havenβt gone to the gym at all this month, meaning youβll have a one-up on them.
Keep pushing though when that motivation comes backπͺ
When it comes to strategy and information, you either want a composition/playstyle that:
1. Limits the information to the other team so they become hesitant.
2. Overloads the other team with information to make them overwhelmed.
Anything close to the middle makes a strategy too predictable imo.
Ngl, out of all the thumbnails and cover images I've made, these are the ones I'm most proud of. (Also, maybe a small insight into what's in the works...)

Once exams are done for the term, I kinda want to get back into competing in a few tournaments if I can work them in around my sessions.
I'd be down to do pickups if anyone would be interested.
Getting really close to affiliate c:
07.08.2025 23:50 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0First Major Update was added.
Added Weapon Specific Discord Server Section (I NEED MORE!!!!)
Added Esport Bros TV to tournaments
Added 3 new guides
added a spreadsheet made by pika with over 100 VOD Channels for JP and some for the West
A little food for thought that would be useful to some:
Being able to improve at almost anything involves understanding AND applying what youβve learned. You canβt apply what you donβt understand, and you canβt understand something if you donβt try to apply it.
After 30 Hours of Work, Here is.. The Mega Document of Splatoon 3 Resources. This is one of the few things the new Competitve Splatoon 3 Hub will offer. #compsplatoon

Higher tiers get priority.
With schoolwork done, I would like to announce the next Recon Mode group session!π₯³
It'll be EU-friendly this time at 2 PM EST on Sunday, August 3rd, on Twitch. It'll be the last opportunity for all supporter tiers on Metafy to submit games for review.
