I've been trying to find myself again as an artist, and I think if I ever have a "grand comeback" and start posting like I used to, things will be very different. I've grown. I no longer do this to perform, I just want to express myself. I just prefer doing so in private, for the time being...

Actually no, I'm gonna keep talking about this. I've genuinely mostly been really inactive lately because my life irl has gotten really hard to deal with, but I've also been drawing less because making my art into a product I have to sell for money completely killed my love for it. Completely.

I just think it's sad how so many artists (including myself, previously), have been pushed so deep into the "small business" mindset, that their art is just a product. The joy of creating and sharing is completely lost in a hasty effort to own and sell a product. The art itself comes second. Bleh.

Frankly, I don't care how other artists choose to restrict sharing their work, but I personally no longer give a shit what people do with my art. Post it on pinterest. Trace it. Copy the idea. Just don't lie and say you made it I guess

If I could undo one thing in my life I swear to god it would be erasing every single "do not repost" plastered on my old art. Genuinely hating the whole concept of "intellectual property" to the point of being okay with any and all reposting nowadays
