I think there’s also a cultural distinction re: people are raised eating meat and it takes immense willpower to stop. We are trying to PREVENT it from being culturally normal to do AI for everything.

No. The burden was already de facto so placed, I think. Defendants of this kind always have an uphill battle and just saying “nuh uh” without some affirmative story backed by evidence is generally a poor strat.
