Day 1: I'd dodged the draft. Neighbors received their papers last week. I was spared. But, today, there was a notice on my door.

Reason for HOA citation: "invasive weeds present in front yard". I'd discover that my deployment would be far longer than I ever imagined.

Another No Budget Summer Film Workshop wrapped up. These kids always blow me away.

Kids were shown local artists' work and went out and adapted into an experimental short film.

Screening at the Southerly 1007 Ave B, Opelika, AL tonight at 7:00.
