If it is a hotel policy for all events I can't see how they would keep any conventions, not just the furries but all, I've been to some big room parties (albeit much chiller) for work conventions. Or even just like... Travelling with groups of folks. It feels like the hotel is trying to force a move

Most likely because there are constant issues from attendees that are happening and affecting their operations/insurance/reputation/w.e. I doubt the hotel is clamping down for the sole reason they're anti-fun. It's most likely the damage in rooms, puking in hallways, nangs left after check out, etc

I would assume this policy is driven by history. I doubt that this is a policy that applies to every event that happens at the hotel now (I could be wrong). I don't fault FC at all, I agree they are at the whim of the hotels policies but the hotel implemented it for a reason.

This is why I yammer so much about managing your own shit.
