If they suspend Habeas Corpus, it won't just be for "migrants" or "illegals" or "criminals." If they suspend Habeas Corpus it will be for you and me and whomever this regime decides is unfit, undesirable, and a threat or a problem. This is how it works. This is how it's always worked.

If Chief Justice Roberts gives a damn about American democracy and the credibility of the Supreme Court, he would be working frantically at this moment to get a 9-0 consensus slapping Trump down when the case of Trump ignoring court orders gets to him soon.

Just a reminder that Musk couldn’t get a top level security clearance. And he was under investigation for violating the terms of the clearance he did have. Now he has your Social Security number, your tax returns, and is unilaterally deciding who the government does and does not pay.
