When the agency is dealing with a broad swath of tge public, bad. Know what else is worth thinking about. Why should it take ICE so long to catch up to tactics that police adopted yrs ago for more accountability: body cameras, de-escalation, more training & incentives for edu to reduce violence?

I think you are right. I like NYC but lived there for only a short time, decades ago (partly b/c of affordability!), and now visit. I'm an upstater. I see MZ's delight in everday life in NYC and am glad for it.🙂
