stopped doing short rows in the middle of the instructions because I got eepy. I am sure I will regret this tomorrow when I cant remember where I left off.

I ended up frogging my colorwork socks. They were so much fun and I was having a great time but I'm picky and I didn't love how stretched the stitches were when I actually put the socks on. I'm going to get a couple smaller needle sizes and try a 72 stitch colorwork sock. Hopefully I find a solution

update: picking up stitches based off vibes was fine. However, I bound off too tightly and now get to unpick an icelandic bind-off 😭 Might just unravel it from where I picked up the neckline and do it all again tomorrow 😔

Picked up the collar on my sweater. Picked up stitches based off vibes. Also used the wrong needle size bc my 3.25mm are MIA. So we may find out later if I need to completely redo the collar 😌

I am lying on the couch with my knees up. My knitting swatch is laying on my thigh as I look at it to decide if I like the newest version of colour choices. The swatch is knit in Fair Isle motifs and has colours of moss green, various blues, greens, red violets, reds, and yellows. In the background the sun is shining in the front door onto the staircase.

Still experimenting with colours to arrive at a yoke design that I’m happy with 🧶 I’ve used duplicate stitch in a few spots to avoid having to rip back (so some of the stitches look a bit bulky). I think I’m getting closer 😊 Painting with yarn continues…ahhh the joys of knitting!

Yeah I’ve been knitting a lot of plain single colored sweaters lately so I want something that uses my brain a little bit more on the needles!

I’m planning on using Cascade 220 Fingering 😌 I’m using their sport base right now for a sweater and really love it so I think it’ll be perfect. The colors definitely aren’t an EXACT match but I think it’ll still give me the vibe I’m going for

Planning a project that I've had in my queue for a while. Normally using a different yarn than recommended isn't difficult because I'm normally going to make things in a different color. But the Vita cardigan I've always wanted in this exact sample. So I spent 2 hours color matching last night 😌

Hoping I’ll be able to finish this this month. It’s pretty much all I’ve been working on bc the pattern is so fun
