Forty years ago today at Buckham Gallery. Three years later I would be in NYC occasionally working as Allen's roadie or gopher for performances and events. The world is truly a strange and wonderful place.

At plenty of venues it is standard for crew to give younger acts a hard time. Someone working the stage at the old Local was being a dick to kids playing their first show and the sound guy caught it. He shouted "𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘇𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲." Kindness goes a long way.

Nice 65' Electra 225 peeking out at Bill Lamb's Record Shoppe, 1st St. and Brush Alley. This building was demolished soon after to make way for the Genesee Towers project.

As a Pirates fan, Bonds was such a joy. Then he started seeing the power hitters getting more attention (and pay) than him and it all went off the rails.

Beard, Bath & Beyond trip commencing next October. Never been to the West Country, so looking forward to the sights and sites.

Just got my ticket; going to fly over from the states and visit historic sites in the West Country. I'm calling my trip "Beard, Bath & Beyond."
