Essentially, you need to pay security, cleaners, maintenance staff, stewards, retailers, cafeteria staff, etc. For games and in some cases if you don't have 20,000 going it is more expensive for 2,000 people to attend. Most teams can't afford that much waste. Also, sadly the ratio is more like 1/25

I feel like if Ted Lasso did a series with a women's team it would be an eye opener for many watching. Since the women's game is struggling at a national level but it's ignored due to recent successes. Each team plays at stadiums rented from lower league teams due to lack of viewership.

That should be a YouTube channel. Just a person sighing and adding another tally mark.

I just found out the funniest TV trivia. The reason AFC Richmond has that name is because Richmond FC is a rugby team. Which makes sense because Rugby was a private school game in England to begin with.
