Magic item of the week - Dad's Sword - This sword tells a dad joke every time you attack with it. If the attack is a hit, it adds vicious mockery to the damage. If the attack misses, the vicious mockery affects you instead.

Dad's Sword

This sword was created by a dad who took a stab at making a magic weapon and added his sharp wit into the enchantment. You might not see the point of such a weapon, but it definitely serves a… duel… purpose. It’s sword of a big deal.

It is a great character.

Conversations with the 8yo DM:

8yo DM: Who do you think the coolest character in Jaws is?

Me: Captain Quint is a great character.

8yo DM: He is my second favorite after Jaws.

The component is a small twig which you break and then point at someone.

I am running this one for the dads of my son’s friends. It was a ridiculous session filled with shenanigans.

Spell of the Week - Bone Breaker Ray - This spell shoots forth a green ray or necrotic energy that snaps a bone. At 2nd level it will break a finger or toe. You can upcast it to break a more serious bone.

Hello my friend! Good to see you. This is going to be one fun campaign.

Couldn’t agree more.

I am running it. In the last campaign, a chaos titan was unleashed on the world and most of the gods died or lost their power. Magic is severely limited and healing is reduced so it should be a tough campaign.

New DnD campaign starts tonight. Post Apocalyptic game following in the wake of the last campaign that ended in a cosmic war that devastated the land.

I am pretty excited about it. New campaigns are always fun.
