Like a lot of Jewish kids (you know who you are), I grew up wondering, "would they hide me?"
That friend? Probably?
That neighbor? Definitely not.
Now it's time to ask a different question.
"Would I hide them?"
The "Holocaust by bullets" is barely known. The Nazis murdered 1.6 million Jews in Soviet Ukraine, 500k in Belarus and 120k in Russia. 80% were shot like "The Last Jew in Vinnitsa" in the picture (in fact, Berdychiv). Now, the perpetrator has been identified. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/o...

Tumaschou war Frontmann der belarussischen Indie-Rock-Band Ulis, deren Musik als Soundtrack der Umbruchszeit der 1990er Jahre gilt.

On 18.03.2014, #Russia annexed #Crimea. In his speech, #Putin assured the people of Ukraine that 🇷🇺 doesn't want to harm Ukraine, respects it's territorial integrity, and does not want "other regions" of Ukraine.
Now, 3 years into the full-scale invasion, he talks about "peace". Don't. Trust. Putin.
