if i speak publicly for anything i guess it should be that great art is necessary now more than ever and you should support it. it was clear this team was told the type of story they wanted (nuanced) wasn't going to 'work' for persona, but metaphor uses the same base and works on every level.

i would like to publicly apologize to katsura hashino, director of p3/p4/p5, for the years i have maligned him for many of those games' obvious flaws. it is now clear to me upon further research he wanted them to be much better too and was overruled by corporate suits. metaphor IS what he wanted.
