Every once in a while, when I'm doing all that and watching it encode and decode dozens of GVC streams in a meeting, I think 'damn'. This is nice.

- Chrome secure shell'd into my work VM
- Running corp Linux locally on crostini running antigravity
- Remote desktop'd into more VMs
- Have a bunch of Android apps I run regularly (tailscale on personal profile)

Right now on my HP Chomebook Dragonfly laptop:
- I'm streaming lossless Spotify playing on my focusrite interface
- Connected to my 5K Dell widescreen at 120hz scaled perfectly
- Ctrl-alt ,. switching between my work and personal profile
- Super-[] between multiple desktops in each profile

It's a somewhat detached from reality kind of power, but it looks like it might have the same effect in the short term, or as long as the person has coins to put into the AI slot machine.

Not that many egomaniacs have the skill and/or good fortune to ride on the runaway compounding power rocket, which I think limits to some extent the proportion of narcissistic psychopaths out there.
I suspect Agents make it so that pretty much anybody can take that ride.

If you can consistently get your CLI agents to start work on a clean branch that is up-to-date from upstream, as well as not push additional work to closed PRs, I want to know your secrets. 🙏

This whole article indicates that my assumptions on the consequences of safety failures for tech companies on the road were way off. I find it pretty confusing with the massive settlements we've seen in the past, while today Tesla seems to get away with murder.

Also, obviously, if gmail is going to automatically parse my email and put a flight in my calendar, they should probably go the whole hog and make sure that the calendar event is accurate after the carrier changes the flight schedule.

2nd Canadian airline flight where the departing flight itinerary was changed with just an email that ended up routed to spam. Is this a global thing? I feel like if you literally change the date and time of a flight you should probably call your customer and get confirmation that they are aware.

I'm a little disturbed by the frequency with which I'm finding worms in my fish at the moment.

From where I'm standing, this seems like a really good time to launch an ambitious tech startup. Primarily thanks to talent availability. But also lack of direction or momentum from the big players, and maybe AI can actually help you scale where you couldn't before.

If I've learned one thing living in Canada, is do absolutely anything to avoid flying a Canadian airline. Assuming you actually want to get to your destination.
