The airport at San Diego is the busiest single-runway airport in the US, so I think go-arounds could be quite common there. The pilot was just being careful and I am thankful for that!

I feel this so much. I had my first infection in mid-June and it hit me really hard both physically and mentally. It's so difficult to read every new study that details how damaged my body is and how more damage is possible. Burnt out and heartbroken is a perfect way to describe how I'm feeling.

Oh, I like the term covid realist.

I mask because it is an easy way to protect myself and others from infections that can disable and kill.

It strikes me as odd that more sex workers don’t mask given that we, as professionals, are adept at reducing the spread of other kinds of infections.
