"Now [Fervo] has scaled up operations dramatically at the Utah site and, in doing so, shown a 70% reduction in drilling time year on year while achieving high temperatures and flow rates. In 2026 it will start to deliver energy to the grid."

Utah is an ideal starting point, but it doesn't end there. With over 500K acres of lease positions, Fervo has its eyes all across the west. If you want to get involved, get in touch!

Not only is Fervo demonstrating viability today, we have big plans for the future - scalable and repeatable 50 MW modules to create an Enhanced Geothermal Data Center Cluster. We are talking "spud date" to delivery in 18 months. Did I already mention zero fresh water usage?
04.08.2025 16:23 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 1Fervo's tech and scalability is being proven right now in Utah. 100 MW comes online next year in Milford w/ 500 MW online by 2028. Each day that passes, Fervo is drilling deeper, hotter, and faster - all while using very little land (~1.5-2 acres per MW).
04.08.2025 16:21 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Our latest white paper with the Utah Inland Port Authority (UIPA) highlights all the reasons why Fervo and Utah make sense for data center investments. Utah provides:
β
Pro-biz environment
β
Skilled workforce
β
Major geothermal potential
β
Fiber optic corridor

π¨ Attention all data centers! π¨
Utah and Fervo Energy are open for business. We are ready - right now - to meet large energy needs.
"Enhanced geothermal is the only reliable, affordable, and clean solution that can scale to gigawatt level this decade."
Let's learn more...π§΅
The U.S. transformed the world economy with our advancements in oil and gas technologies. Those advancements have spurred major breakthroughs at Fervo and in enhanced geothermal systems (EGS). It's time to seize this new moment with scalable, clean firm power.
01.08.2025 16:00 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It was a pleasure to speak with American Habits about Fervo Energy, advanced geothermal, and how the U.S. has the opportunity to lead the world in the future of geothermal energy. Becoming leaders in this tech has major economic and national security advantages.
01.08.2025 15:57 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0"By using drilling technology advanced by the oil and gas industry, Fervo is drilling deeper, drilling sideways and drilling in new places to unlock new reserves of heat energy. The DOE estimates that EGS has the potential to power more than 65M American homes and businesses."
23.06.2025 21:44 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We also celebrated Cape Connect - Fervoβs inaugural site visit. Over 150 attendees on-site in Utah to see all the incredible advancements of enhanced geothermal systems (EGS). First 100 MW to the grid in 2026. 500 MW in 2028. What a beautiful place.
16.06.2025 17:22 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What a week for Fervo Energy!
π΅ Successfully secured $206M in additional capital for Cape Station - the largest EGS project in the world
β¨οΈ Announced a 15,000-foot well at 500Β°F+ in only 16 days (hottest & deepest well to date)
π Achieved multiple drilling performance records
Great to meet you out there, Jay!
16.06.2025 16:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What does the future of enhanced geothermal power generation look like?
Fervo offered an update to partners and investors at its #capeconnect event today, showcasing progress on its 100MW Cape Station project in UT.
I tagged along and I learned a lot. Some highlights based on my notes followβ¦ ππ‘
Come work with us!
03.06.2025 18:55 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0βEnhanced geothermal systems (EGS) could plausibly contribute up to 20% of total US electricity generation by 2050 & drastically reduce the cost electricity decarbonization even in lower-quality resource areas east of the Mississippi β a much larger role for the technology than previously assumed.β
29.05.2025 15:43 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Fervo's VP of strategy Sarah Jewett walks through how the company used a variety of capital to build its record breaking geothermal facilities:
www.latitudemedia.com/news/what-fe...
However, "continued technological improvements may greatly increase the possible power production by EGS and may yield more than ten times the current best estimate." That's 1,400 GW!
23.05.2025 17:10 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Super exciting report from the U.S. Geological Survey yesterday on the potential for enhanced geothermal systems (EGS) in the Great Basin. 135 GW of EGS potential is beneath our feet there, which could roughly meet 10% of U.S. power production capacity. pubs.usgs.gov/publication/...
23.05.2025 17:10 β π 18 π 4 π¬ 2 π 1Enhanced geothermal systems (EGS):
- Reliable, constant source of power β
- Rapidly declining costs β
- Limited land footprint β
- Flexible generating capacity β
- Transferable oil & gas workforce β
- Resilience to weather-related disruptions β
- 90 GW of potential by 2050 β
The policy analysis being done on advancing next-generation geothermal is really top notch. Huge appreciation to the smart people thinking hard about how to move the needle on EGS. The tech innovation is moving fast here and we need policy to keep up if we're going to meet the moment for clean firm:

To those in Denver - please reach out! I'm joining the Fervo Energy team to hopefully play a small part in making next-gen geothermal the next big thing. I continue to surround myself w/ people far smarter than me >>>
Joe B, Locker, and O. What a moment and what a 20-year run. πππ
06.04.2025 23:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Such a ridiculous intersection. Stop sign is for those on the trail and not for the cars. Should be the other way around for how often people walk, bike, and run on that trail. Cars even yield most of the time for how active it is.
17.03.2025 17:51 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0"A survey conducted by the pollster Mason-Dixon in February 2022 found that among 625 registered FL voters, 84% supported net metering, including 76% of self-identified Republicans."
It's pretty great that despite endless political noise, solar is pretty freaking awesome (and cheap).
"There are βliterally no limitsβ to how much Aspen can increase capacity [in China], said CFO Ricardo Rodriguez."
Constant threats, gutting federal programs, and widespread policy uncertainty is destroying business opportunities in the U.S. Every industry and every investor has their hands tied.
βGenerally speaking, itβs not to say these resources donβt exist but we know very little about what there is to offer.β
I spoke with CNN about the rumored US-Ukraine minerals deal last week and what we know about minerals in Ukraine. However, the deal between Trump and Zelenskyy fell apart.
Outdated views on grid reliability and slow-moving institutions pose a far greater threat to a resilient grid than any single technology. We should stay focused on building a diversified electric grid capable of responding to a rapidly changing world.
www.latitudemedia.com/news/a-diver...
Depending on the final details, this deal may not deliver much substance in terms of mineral access or economic value for America. Despite seemingly little financial risk for the U.S., it may simply be strongarming an ally that needs aid as they resist an ongoing invasion.
27.02.2025 15:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If this were all about securing a minerals supply chain, why wouldnβt the U.S. turn its focus to allies like Canada and Australia who have significant mineral resources they are looking to capitalize on? Instead, we are threatening major tariffs on many of their mineral imports.
