I remember Aliens were supposed to land on Snæfellsjökull on the 5th of November 1993 - at 21:07 exactly. Hundreds showed up, but no visitors from outer space. Some guests said they felt presence. Media, lights, fireworks and crowd probably scared them away. No one doubted the "prophecy" though.

All good. It was a great show. As @steiniyagya.bsky.social can confirm, I'm a bit of a history nerd. Always loved reading about those expeditions (Amundsen - later Freuchen). Pretty much all the tracks on the album starts clear with rhythm and ends up in cold and ambiguity - almost in a snowstorm

The cover was made by Andrei Kedrin - and wanted to explore the Inuit mythologies, which is much about shapeshifter and monsters (Sedna, Anguta). We wanted to create a creature that felt familiar to it, but still was unknown - and the small human (front of the cover) facing the ultimate unknown.

The album was influenced by the Franklin's expedition (Erebus & Terror) and everything connected with exploration of the Northwest Territories. There is even a little hint in the vinyl runout - lines from a poem by Uvavnuk, 19th century inuit poet.

It still nice that the fascists crawl out of their caves, so we can point at them and laugh at them. The real crime is calling your band ClubDub - and there isn't a single trace of dub in it.

I'm really disappointed in her. She fails to see that recent discourse in the US is giving bigots everywhere the confidence to lash out against minorities. Even though, as she says, there are constitutional rights, people still face discrimination both publicly and privately.

Já. Hún er doldið mikið guilty pleasure. "Everything I Wanted" er uppáhaldið mitt með henni. Doldið Yagya stemmning jafnvel í því. Það sem mér finnst mest spennandi við hana er hvernig hún tekur upp vókalana og vinnur með þá. Það er alveg sturluð mikið details í gangi.

Received my copies of the Pure Lempuyang Télu compilation. The third anniversary compilation. All star crew from the Lempuyang camp on board. Lovely stuff. The beloved Chanti on the cover - jamming to the sounds in the afterlife.

A respectable seventh place on this months Party Zone chart in the Icelandic National Radio. Woop woop!
