There are four (4) acceptable types of author photos:

- 'What kind of bird is that?'

There is a secret, fifth, type of author photo, that should not be attempted except by the elect called 'This couch is comfortable.'

Nice. Hadn't heard of this, but it seems kind of close. Cool designs.

I would conservatively estimate that 90% of literary discourse online is driven by people who literally do not read what they're pontificating about. They complain about contemporary fiction, literary fiction, genre fiction, postmodernism, YA books, whatever that they just do not read.
